District LSPs - Kent Working in Partnership

Kent is a two-tier area and has many partnerships that work to improve the quality of life for local people in Kent.

There are 9 Local Strategic Partnerships (LSPs) in Kent which have developed their own district sustainable community strategies. Each community strategy is unique to the area that it covers, although there are often issues which are common to all. It is important that the Kent Partnership works closely with the district LSPs and other partnerships, such as those in growth areas, to ensure we complement each other's work and do not duplicate effort. The Vision for Kent will be implemented alongside the local community strategies, through their local strategic partnerships.

District LSPs have links to Kent's 12 Local Boards. These public meetings are a forum for elected members of the county council to work closely with communities and partners at a local level.
